Printech System Private Limited (PTS) is a commercial, continuous forms and label printing service firm that sells new and pre-owned printing machines to local printing companies in Singapore. PTS also provides technical services to retrofit and repair customers’ printing machines inclusive of supplying spare parts and consumables. Recently, PTS has decided to conduct the business outside of Singapore in particular with the printers in ASEAN countries.

The mission of PTS is to provide premier services of selling new and pre-owned machines inclusive of supplying spare parts and consumables to forms-printers and labels-printers in ASEAN countries so as to maximize returns for the benefit of its customers and employees. The activities and technologies to conduct these sales are through purchasing the machines and equipment from existing suppliers in Australia, Japan, Germany, France, Italy, USA and UK and sell them to our customers. The purpose of this paper is to discuss the research methodologies used by PTS to identify the target customers in ASEAN countries.

Based on intended marketing mix of product, price, promotion and place, PTS was at the frontline of providing the most advance printing machineries, spare parts and consumables; offering effective, quality and speedy repairing services; and delivering personal sales services with competitive prices.
